Reflect:
The artifacts that I chose for this INTASC standard relate to it because they both fit in with the description of the standard and both are good examples of this standard. The first artifact that I chose relates to 1.D because it was an assignment that I had for a class in which I had to read an article about a teacher who was implementing new ideas about teaching diversity into her classroom. This relates to this specific category because I then had to write a reflection over the article and understand the ideas she discussed in the classroom. As for the second article that I chose for 1.G, I picked an assignment we had to complete called a Plan of Action. For this assignment, I had to think about ways in which I felt I was prepared to be a teacher, ways in which I felt like I was making progress and ways in which I felt I was not very prepared for. The second part of the assignment required us to make a plan of action in which we had to make a list of five things that we will start beginning now and will continue until the end of our internship. This project relates to this specific category of this standard because I was able to identify ways in which I can become a better teacher and a plan to follow to help me accomplish these goals. These artifacts both are good examples of this standard since they both relate to the fact that the teacher is willing to learn and read about new ideas and wants to keep continuing to strive to be a better teacher.

Project:
I think that these artifacts show that I am a learner who is willing to learn and who wants to do as much as I can to become a better teacher. I think that it shows that I am willing to go the distance to make sure that I can do everything in my power to implement new ideas and have a better understanding of a classroom and the children in it. I want to make sure that I am someone that children can depend on and look up too and one way to accomplish that is to make sure that I create an enviroment for children that will help them each be successful. I think that these artifacts show that I am willing to become a teacher who respects my students needs and is willing to do anything that I can to make sure that each and every child gets what they need from their learning experience.
